About

A Michigan girl born and raised, my interest in becoming a licensed counselor and helping people started as far back as I can remember. My mom was a psychologist, my dad was an engineer, and they both set an incredible example for me that life is all about being there for others.

To me, helping people is like a calling. It reinforces me and makes me feel good to know I’m making a difference in people’s lives. I’ve worked with all kinds of clients, including children, families and individuals in schools as well as a wide range of community organizations. I believe that a community where people support each other is happier and healthier. I feel very blessed that I get to make a living doing what I love. How many people can say that?

When I’m not in my office, you’ll find me volunteering at my kids’ schools or with local charities. And, of course, hiking these beautiful North Georgia Mountains that lured me all the way here from Michigan. I can’t get enough of them!
